DEEP VELLUM MUSIC & LITERATURE FESTIVAL 2026
Writers, musicians, performers, translators, and other creatives from Texas and around the world gathered in Dallas, July 10-12, 2026. With readings, installations, community dialogue, and live music, the Deep Vellum Music & Literature Festival showcased global voices in the heart of Dallas.

Friday
Friday Night Kickoff event at Ruins, sponsored by the Southwest Review, featuring a panel on Latin American literature in translation with Javier García del Moral, Rodrigo Hasbún, Robin Myers, and Greg Brownderville, followed by music performances by Ceci Ceci and Cayuga All-Stars.
saturday
Literary panels, readings, and music performances at 11 venues throughout Deep Ellum during the day, followed by a Saturday Night Headliner Show with Hanif Abdurraqib, Jamila Woods, Lawrence Burney, and DAMOYEE at Sons of Hermann Hall.
Sunday
Sunday Morning Poetry closed out the festival. Poets Oksana Lutsyshyna, Robin Myers, and Sophia Terazawa were joined by jazz collective D-CLAIM for a morning of poetry and music.
