The Advisory Group leading the Dallas Cultural Trail will host a three-part series of public information sessions to introduce this major initiative and show how Dallasites can get involved. The Dallas Cultural Trail will link the city’s three state-recognized Cultural Districts, making local history, arts, and architecture more accessible through both digital and physical trail experiences. These informational and listening sessions are open to the general public, including arts and cultural institutions interested in applying to become official trail sites. Updates on project funding and next steps will also be shared.
The Dallas Cultural Trail was awarded a $2m grant from USDOT as a Reconnecting Communities project. The Deep Ellum Foundation is in the process of solidifying that grant to launch in 2026. The project has also received significant support from the City of Dallas through the Office of Arts and Culture's initial investment and Mayor Pro Tem Moreno's championship in the 2024 Bond program which includes $250k for the project.
